Prayer for Serenity / God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time; accepting hardships as a pathway to peace; taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; trusting that You will make all things right if I surrender to Your will; So that I may be reasonably happy in this life, and supremely happy with You forever in the next. / Amen.
I know this prayer (both the long version and the abbreviated one) mean so much to so many. Personally, it was shared with me during my growing-up years by a dear pseudo-mom of mine, Mrs. Janet Carter. In more recent years, my husband Dugan enlightened me to the full version, and it's just so beautiful and raw and grounded.
It was my true pleasure to create this art — first as a gift for a dear friend, and now available for all of you. We love seeing these powerful words go to your homes, and knowing they will have an an inspiring impact makes it all the better.

- 8x10, 11x14, and 16x20 unframed art prints are delightfully shipped flat! 20x24 and 24x30 unframed art prints ship rolled.
