I was born on Christmas Eve, and every year my mom tells me the same story about the day I was born. She remembers that night after visiting hours were over, when all was quiet in the hospital and it was just her and I in her hospital room, and this song came on the speakers in the hallways. I also have so many memories of growing up singing this song during our Candlelight Service at church, and what special reverent moments those were. For that and so many other reasons, it was more than time to letter this hymn! I hope it brings you and yours all the warm and worshipful feels as it does mine.
