I discovered this vintage painting at an antique place and couldn't get it out of my head. (I am not sure how old this piece is because it wasn't signed, but my educated guess is that the original is over 100 years old!) I love how the shepherd is illuminated from the back and then shadowed, and how adoringly his little sheep is looking at him!
