The folks at Mental Floss will do a way better job than myself of telling you about the history and background of this speech, but I can tell you my history with it, and why I chose to make it into art! I have had the pleasure of working under the leadership and vision of some amazing people. I still remember the time my employer read this part of Theodore Roosevelts speech, and its marked me ever since. I was recently reminded of it, and I was so inspired to make it. One of the things I wanted to achieve in the design is to specifically call out each different portion of this brilliant quote – there is so much to take in, and I hope this helps! I can think of so many people Id love to gift this to, and so the team and I were intentional to bring you this new piece in time for holiday! The piece in the photo is 30x38, Alabaster, and framed in the Gallery Natural. Whether you customize yours to be large like this one or choose an art print, it is sure to make a meaningful impact in whatever space becomes its home. (Oh, and one other cool thing about this piece is thats a replica of Theodore Roosevelts exact signature on it!)
Luxe Art Prints are produced on Moab Lasal Photo Paper. It is a bright white paper with a velvety matte surface. Smaller sizes (8x10 & 11x14) ship flat, larger sizes ship rolled.

Our Luxe Art Prints are printed on Moab Lasal Photo Paper. This bright white mid-weight (235 gsm) paper has a smooth, velvety surface that holds color beautifully.
All prints and canvases at Lindsay Letters are printed using archival quality materials.
Unframed Art Prints ship pretty fast! You can expect it to take about three days in production (up to five days during holiday), and it will ship via USPS.

Your Luxe Art Print(s) will ship via USPS. Smaller prints – 8x10 and 11x14 – will be packaged in a glassine sleeve and ship in a flat mailer. This is the perfect option if you are sending an art print as a gift, because it makes for great presentation! Larger prints, size 16x20 & up, will ship rolled in a tube for safe travels.
Please be aware that we have two different vendors that we use to print our Art Prints.
Our Luxe Art Prints come from one vendor, and our Classic Art Prints come from another. They are both great options, but there are subtle differences. (Mainly, Luxe Art Prints are a brighter white smooth paper and Classic Art Prints are on an ivory, slightly textured paper. Additionally, smaller Luxe Art Prints ship flat while smaller Classic Art Prints ship rolled in a tube).
If your order includes a both Classic & Luxe style prints, those prints will be different. They will be printed on different paper, packaged differently, and ship at different times from different places. They will still look great grouped together on a wall, but if you're sending multiple prints as a gift, we recommend choosing prints of the same type, so that the user experience of receiving them is consistent. ☺
No product at Lindsay Letters is available for a return or exchange.
However, in the unfortunate event that something was damaged in shipping, please let us know! Sometimes these fragile unframed Art Prints are the subject of some wear and tear in shipment, and if your print experienced some unfortunate tumbles (dented corners, etc), please let us know (send a photo when you contact us) and we will make it right!
