Happy Autumn!

I’ve told you for a while now that big, fun changes have been coming to Lindsay Letters and HERE THEY ARE!

  • I refreshed the website! It feels great (and hopefully, even easier to use and navigate!)
  • Framed prints are back and better!

  • Introducing – Embellished canvases!

  • … and those feature new frame options!

  • A new mercantile, filled with carefully chosen items to make your home even more cozy, layered, and intentional.

And I’m so excited to debut those LL updates with this new collection — Autumn Orchard.

I have the best memories of visiting our Midwest-famous apple orchard ever since I was little. (Shoutout to Edwards Apple Orchard in Caledonia, IL!) The delicious food, the best little shop, the apples of course, the nostalgia…I remember going with my mom when I was little–listening to the live folk band, eating apple pie and drinking cider and thinking that life couldn’t get any better. Dugan and I went when we were dating, we brought our kids there when they were babies, and I still go back every year to stock up on market favorites and enjoy the view. It’s my very favorite thing to do in the fall!

I created this small but meaningful collection as a celebration of nostalgic fall. 90s fall, honestly. When the world felt simpler. I wanted to start by creating a few scenes that felt like home — cozy, memorable. Scenes we’ve all seen and loved at this time of year.

Autumn Shoreline looks like the view I’ve seen looking out the window of my favorite supper club on the lake (Ishnala)… Apple Orchard looks like the familiar rows of apples ready for picking, Falling Leaves and Rustling Embers are abstract interpretations of the colors of fall.

I hope this collection feels so good to you, a little like coming home. And like the perfect backdrop to usher you through spooky season, into harvest season, and right up until the Christmas decor comes out! (Launching at LL on October 31st!)

I’m calling this season “the season of home.” Honestly, I really hate to see summer come to an end. I have always loved fall, but as I’ve become a parent, summer is really something special. I love more time together with my family, I love being able to spend time with my kids in the pool. I love more daylight and the slower pace for us. I love no bedtime. But all seasons come to an end, and so I really want to embrace fall. So I’m celebrating the nesting that comes with fall, the hunkering in that is winter, and how this is a season that prepares us for that.

And I love that my art can help.

As for us, we are so good over here. Everyone is healthy, and everyone is home. And that never ever gets old.

Thanks so much for allowing my art to be the backdrop of all of your seasons. Good and bad, easy and hard, summer and fall and everything else.

With love and gratitude,

Lindsay
