About this piece
Long ago in a time known as "the 1980s," I received something I'll never forget: a box of Crayola "BOLD" Markers. In it was a pale reddish orange color called "Bittersweet," and it's been one of my favorite colors ever since. I love the color of bittersweet, and how its berries pop against a fall and winter landscape, so I knew it's lovely pop of orangey red was exactly what these icy blues needed. Not unintentionally, "bittersweet" also reigns so true for this season for my family. Believing there is much more sweet to come!
