Lindsay's Story

Lindsay Sherbondy

Hi, I'm Lindsay Sherbondy! I'm a wife, mom, business owner, antiques enthusiast and iced coffee lover. But before I was any of those things, I was an artist. It's truly the honor of my lifetime to create art for my living... especially for you, and for the sacred spaces in your everyday life.

I went to college for graphic design, but painting has always been my happiest, safest place. I started a blog in 2008 to document my custom designs and hand lettering projects (that's where the "Letters" comes from), and then in 2011 that blog became the e-commerce store that you see today! Every piece of art you find here (with the exception of the vintage reproductions) was created by me. When you shop at Lindsay Letters, you're supporting myself and my family, and you're also supporting a sustainable and conscious business that sells American-made products – something you can be super proud of! In the last decade, we have had the privilege of processing over 150,000 orders and have nearly all five-star reviews.

At Lindsay Letters, you'll start by finding a piece of artwork that speaks to you. (Don't overthink it! If you love it, then it's right.) Then, you'll begin our Art Bar® experience, where you'll select the type of art you'd like, the size, and the finishing option. Then your piece is custom-made by hand (just for you!) in North Carolina or Colorado, packaged with care, and then shipped to your front door in about two weeks.

I myself am the only full time employee at LL, but that doesn't mean that you won't get an exceptional product and exceptional customer service, because you will! It does mean that your purchase makes a big difference in my life, and I hope it will be such a blessing to you as well!

I believe in art as self-care, that beauty is an innate human longing, and that creating intentional spaces (not perfect spaces, but spaces that are authentically inspiring to us) is actually really important because of the impact our environments have on everything else. In short: I believe you are so worthy of meaningful art, and I would be so honored if some of the art in your home was mine! It truly is our pleasure to serve you, and to help you create the scenery of a life you love. 💛

p.s. if you're looking for a place to start, here's a collection of our best sellers!
p.p.s. if you heard about LL through my daughter Eva and her accident, please know that your support and prayers warm our hearts, and have made a huge impact on her quality of life. Eva loves hearing about people loving her and supporting her through LL!
