About this piece
I listened to Kasey Musgraves' album Golden Hour a lot when I was painting this collection! There's a song on the album called "Space Cowboy," and that was the inspiration behind naming this painting. The dreamy, melty look of the paint in this piece gives it an almost iridescent, spacey-feel, and the name Space Cowgirl is what instantly came to mind when I looked at the finished piece.
