This painting is warmer than your average cloud painting or picture and that’s because I really wanted to capture the glow of the sun coming up behind them. Whenever I fly on an airplane, this is the view I love the most – when you can’t see the sun, but you know it’s there because its warmth and rays are barely peeking through the dense clouds. I also love a creamy, warm white, and this piece achieves that calming color, but in a fun way.
