Bookish Nude is my unapologetic homage to the famous nude cutouts of Henri Matisse. The works of Mattisse are available in the public domain, and we contemplated adding one or two to our Vintage Reproductions Collection. However, Laura had the idea to create an LL piece with a personality all it's own.

We're a big fan of books (because some of the LL team are readers/writers/English majors!), and then others of us (ahem, Lindsay), that don't ever read but just reallllly love the way colorful books look! Whether you like to read books or just judge them for their cover, Bookish Nude is the piece for you.
