Catching Fireflies
There’s something unforgettable about summer evenings when the fireflies begin to appear—first one tiny glow, then another, until the whole landscape seems to sparkle. This collection was inspired by those magical moments and the nostalgia of long summer nights spent running barefoot through the backyard, catching lightning bugs, and lingering outside until dusk. As I painted these pieces, the field behind our house came alive with fireflies, reminding me that the simplest moments often become the memories we treasure most. Some paintings capture open fields, others quiet forests, but each one celebrates the wonder, warmth, and timeless magic of summer in hopes of bringing those feelings home to you.

At this point, we've all been through some stuff. Great stuff, hard stuff, in between stuff... And with all the things we have walked through in my own home, I am more convinced than ever that creating a home that inspires and delights you can also help you heal on a deep level. Personally, I think the most impactful way to set the tone for your space is starting with art as the anchor, and then building around it. Because let's be honest, no one ever refers to their couch as "meaningful."
