About this piece
I love all things pine in the winter – I love how pine can be both cozy and crisp, fresh and familiar. Not to mention, green tones are super easy to decorate with, in regards to wall art at least, because they are incredibly calming and act as a neutral. (And the hint of juniper berry blue is a really nice accent). I painted this piece while my daughter Eva was in the PICU, and I was compelled to create something calming, but with many layers. The longer you look at this one, the more youll appreciate it.
