About this piece
Lover is such a special painting! It's an homage to an album that's so near and dear to our hearts, and I wanted to emulate the feeling of that music in a painting, just for Eva. It's the very first painting I painted at our new home, and the original hangs (huge – 50x40) on Eva's wall across from her bed, hopefully as a bright burst of joy to remind her how loved and full of life she is! I love that this art can be displayed in kids or grown up spaces, and I love how it feels so free!
