About this piece
I've heard it said recently that glimmers are the opposite of triggers... Where triggering things can spark negative feelings, glimmers are small, everyday, otherwise inconsequential moments that spark a sense of positivity... emotions like joy, love, peace and hope. These glimmers can come from anywhere, and they leave you feeling more uplifted and grateful. I gave this abstract the title "Glimmers" because I wanted to celebrate and remember this unique phenomenon, and the unexpected pleasures of life. Just like glimmers, this otherwise neutral painting has surprising depths and flickers of surprise. Here's to more glimmers!
