About this piece
This abstract piece is quiet and gentle. I painted it this Spring during one of my hospital stays with Eva, and that's exactly what my heart was craving in that moment :: quiet; gentle. There are tiny matte gold flecks if you look close enough –– little surprises along the horizon if you stay long enough to notice them. I hope that when you look at this painting, you can be reminded of the vast – and gentle – love of God... and the surprises He has in store for each of us.

Symbolic painting
I love the “why” of how this was painted - and so to be reminded of the gentleness of God, His quiet voice, in the midst of a hard season is a gift. I’ve hung this painting above my deceased husband’s cremation urn. The Blue Horizon points me to eternity and is a perfect complement to my husband’s favorite color : blue. Thank you Lindsay for painting something that truly ministers to me.
