About this piece
Just before I painted this piece, we had some crazy storms roll through Southern Wisconsin (where I live) and that's what inspired this painting. I love the cool breeze before a storm, and how everything quiets, and when you can see the sheeting rain and dark clouds coming in from the distance. Watching storms come in is one of my favorite things!
