I just love painting abstract landscapes, and I continued the fun with this duo – Shore and Snow. My friend Becca joked that they looked so similar to Knees to the Earth that they needed to be "Knees to the..." and after we all called them this for so long, it just stuck! For this duo, I actually painted the same scene, just in two different seasons. It represents that we are the same person, no matter what is around us, and even though we are constant, things look different. Both beautiful in their own right, just different.
Knees to the Shore has a glowing blush sky, vibrant red earth, and then a dreamy shoreline. It can be enjoyed alone, or next to Knees to the Snow, or switch them our based on the seasons! Like a sweet artwork magic trick.
