If I have ever had a Bob Ross moment in my life, it was working on this painting! We came across this amazing photo on tumblr – I cannot for the life of me find credit or anything about it – but it just amazed me. So I used it as my inspiration to paint an abstract take on this little snuggled up village. How cozy! If this image doesn't send you hygge vibes, I don't know what will. You know every one in their houses is cozy by thier fires, candles lit, wool socks on, snuggled under thick knit blankets. What I love about this image is that it doesn't shy away from the winter or the snow, it embraces it. Kind of like okay, here we are, it is what it is, let's go with it. That speaks volumes to me in my life! This winter (be it the season or the status), I hope to embrace it with the same beautiful and quiet resolve. Get your cocoa ready and emerce yourself in all the hygge you can handle.
