A note from Lindsay
Land of Milk and Honey was inspired by the beautiful landscapes of Israel, a place that has become especially meaningful to our family since my husband traveled there. I wanted to paint an interpretation of the rolling hills and open skies of this ancient land, using soft blues, warm blush tones, and earthy neutrals. I loved the idea of creating a landscape that felt peaceful and full of promise, with light breaking through the clouds and spilling over the hills below. I love thinking about how Jesus' coming was the fulfillment of promises and prophecies made hundreds of years before His birth. For me, this painting represents those generations of waiting, hoping, and trusting in what God had promised. While I created this piece as part of the Holiday Collection, I wanted it to feel timeless and meaningful beyond the Christmas season. My hope is that it brings a little sense of peace, beauty, and hope into your home.

Canvas F.A.Q.s
Heirloom Quality ⢠USA Made
Our new heirloom-quality canvases are printed on a premium poly-cotton canvas blend using archival inks and expertly hand stretched over wood stretcher bars. We use real wood stretcher bars and frames, all of which are handcrafted in Austin, Texas. The frames are finished using carefully applied woodgrain and foil finishes for a cohesive, polished look. Each frame is completed with a kraft paper dust cover backing and Bumpons⢠for added longevity and a polished, gallery-quality finish. Smaller sizes arrive ready to hang with gallery-style wire for hanging simplicity, while larger sizes include our beloved no-wire canvas hanging kits for extra security.
First, it's so tedious, but measure measure measure! We like to use painters tape to block off the size you're considering, in order to get a true visual of the scale for your space. Adding a frame adds a bit to the overall dimensions, so take note of that as well.
The #1 reason for product exchange inquiries is people wanting a lager size than they ordered. When in doubt, go larger. Even if that means you need to save up longer and delay gratification ā it will be worth it!
Kindly note: our suppliers can change frames often and without warning. If you are ordering a canvas to "match" a canvas with a frame ordered previously, please contact us to ensure they will be an exact match.
We believe that if you love it, it's the right choice! Art was never intended to "match" ā it was intended to help you feel, celebrate, or document something. However, we understand wanting to make the right choice for your investment. If you're struggling with making a choice, contact us with a quick photo of your space and we'd be delighted to help! Your Canvas order will be shipped via UPS Ground about five business days after placing your order. (Add few more days during peak times). You can expect your Canvas about two weeks after your order is placed.
Yes and no. What you are seeing in the images above is the exact image that gets sent to print for your art. The painting and composition are exactly the same as the painting you will receive.Ā Some things of note, however:
⢠The color on your monitor most certainly will look different than that of a canvas print. (Technically, that's because screens display colors by emitting light. Conversely, printed materials rely on the reflection of light from the printed ink, which makes colors print darker and less saturated than they appear on screens). Additionally, the lighting in the styled photographs can change the appearance of the art slightly (as it will in your space).
⢠Lighting has a lot to do with how the color looks in a photo. Our phots are taken in studio and natural light. The best indicator of color will be the non-styled images of the art, because those are the actual art files.
⢠You may choose a different framing option than the image displayed, and your canvas will come with whatever framing option you select, which may or may not be depicted in the photos.
Because each art product is custom made just for you, we do not accept preference-based returns. However, your satisfaction is the most important thing to us, so please contact us if you have any concerns.
